IT Intern Release & Environment Coordinator Experience Buddy

Mission

Support the Experience Buddy development team by managing the endtoend process of delivering new features from development to beta testing and finally to live production. Ensure stable deployments, clean versioning, and controlled testing by partner DMCs.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain separate DEV, BETA, and LIVE environments.
• Ensure consistent environment variables and deployment configurations.
• Oversee separation of Supabase databases (beta vs production).

Release Coordination

• Manage the release workflow (Dev Beta Live).
• Prepare and merge release branches.
• Deploy updates for both frontend and back office.
• Run and validate Supabase migrations.
• Ensure proper versioning & release notes.

Quality Assurance

• Perform internal QA on new BETA versions.
• Validate login flows, RLS rules, data isolation, itinerary and product creation.
• Report and track bugs before LIVE deployment.

Partner Support

• Manage BETA access for 23 DMC partners.
• Provide instructions, credentials, and support.
• Collect and synthesize partner feedback.

Documentation

• Maintain clear documentation on environment configurations.

Monitoring

• Monitor error logs after each release.
• Ensure LIVE environment runs smoothly.
• Notify team of critical issues immediately.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of web applications (React, Next.js or similar frameworks).
• Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, and ideally Supabase.
• Knowledge of Git (branches, pull requests, tags).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Structured thinking & good documentation skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with developers and nontechnical stakeholders.

NicetoHave Skills

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Vercel, Netlify, GitHub Actions).
• Basic understanding of backend logic (Node.js).
• Exposure to working in multienvironment or SaaS platforms.
• Interest in travel tech or tourism.
