General Production Worker

We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to efficiently load and unload machinery with steel materials, prepare materials for processing, and ensure the smooth handling of materials within our production line.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload machines with steel material.
• Prepare material for machine operation.
• Gather steel material based on work orders or oral instructions for movement, loading, or unloading near the paint booth.
• Secure lifting attachments to materials and convey loads to their destinations.
• Count and record the number of units of materials moved.
• Stack or assemble materials into bundles and band them together.
• Lift heavy objects by hand or with power hoist/crane.

Essential Skills:

• Experience in production and machine operation.
• Proficiency in general labor and material handling.
• 2+ years of experience as a Machine Operator within steel/metal manufacturing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience as a Material Handler.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Work Environment:

Work in a dynamic and engaging environment during the 2nd shift, with hours from 3pm to 1am, Monday through Thursday. Additional hours may be required as needed.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Permanent position based out of Waukesha, WI.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $54080.00/yr. Offers benefits 30 days after starting: Health, Dental, Medical, 401K.

This is a fully onsite position in Waukesha, WI.
