Job Description Role: Senior Java Developer with Big Data Experience 5-7 years experience in J2EE with Spring MVC, REST API, and JSON Strong experience with JBOSS EAP 6.X and Big Data using HBase on Hadoop Designing MapReduce jobs to process large HBase datasets Unix shell scripting skills for preprocessing unstructured data Developing RESTful GET calls on HBase to retrieve data Background in Hadoop Java programming using MapReduce, HBase, Pig, Hive, APIs, etc. Linux and distributed systems management knowledge Knowledge of Active MQ and troubleshooting skills Good communication skills and aptitude Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the field for each year of education At least 7 years of experience within Information Technologies Additional Information U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply.
