As the Hotel General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and exceptional guest experience of our 52-room hotel. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of duties, requiring strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a relentless commitment to excellence in hospitality.
Your primary focus will be on leadership, as you will be responsible for guiding and motivating our team to deliver outstanding service to our guests. You will set the tone for our hotel's culture, fostering an environment of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Through effective communication and mentorship, you will empower our staff to excel in their roles and uphold our high standards of hospitality. Operational management will also be a key aspect of your role. You will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and guest services. You will work closely with department heads to ensure that day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently, addressing any issues or challenges that may arise in a timely and effective manner.
In addition to operational management, you will be responsible for driving revenue and profitability for the hotel. You will develop and manage the hotel's budget, identifying opportunities to increase revenue and reduce expenses while maintaining a high level of service quality. You will work closely with the sales and marketing team to develop and implement strategies to attract guests and maximize occupancy, leveraging your knowledge of the local market and competitive landscape.
Ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction will be another key aspect of your role. You will lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to providing exceptional service to every guest who walks through our doors. You will implement and maintain quality assurance programs to ensure that our hotel meets and exceeds industry standards, continuously seeking feedback from guests and taking proactive measures to address any issues or concerns. As the face of our hotel, you will be responsible for building positive relationships with guests, staff, and the local community. You will represent the hotel in a professional manner, attending community events and networking with stakeholders to promote our brand and foster goodwill. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and staff, implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety and security regulations.
