The Opportunity
\nAs the Medical Director at\nPlantation Animal Hospital, you will provide medical leadership for the\nhospital, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care while\nmanaging associate veterinarians and maintaining regulatory compliance. This\nrole offers you the freedom to practice medicine the way you believe is best\nfor your patients, supported by a collaborative team and modern resources.

Working closely with the Hospital Manager, you will also oversee\nthe financial performance of the hospital, including preparing operating and\ncapital budgets and meeting budget expectations. Together, you and the Hospital\nManager will guide staff development and overall practice operations under the\ndirection of National Veterinary Associates (NVA) Divisional Leadership.

  Qualifications:

  • DVM or\n equivalent degree from an accredited university
  • \n
  • Licensed (or\n eligible for licensure) in the state of Florida
  • \n
  • 3+ years of\n veterinary experience
  • \n
  • Commitment\n to high standards of care and professional ethics
  • \n
  • Surgical\n experience or interest in expanding surgical skills
  • \n
  • Spanish-speaking\n skills are a plus!
  • \n
