Job Description

Role Purpose

Monitoring the implementation of the Security Program at the Regional Airports on daily basis in order to fulfil the requirements as derive from National and EU regulations related to airport security.

Key responsibilities

  • Communicates daily with Airport Security Supervisor and Security Duty Officers

  • Monitors the implementation of the Airport Security Programs, SOP’s and WI’s

  • Conducts security audits, inspections, investigations, tests and/or drills to all Regional Airports of Fraport Greece, to recognize vulnerabilities in security procedures and systems. Additionally, generates reports, evaluates 3rd party corrective action plans and measures, proposes corrective actions and suggest on deviations’ closure.

  • Keeps and updates the database/registry containing both deviations and corresponding corrective actions deriving from internal/external audits and inspections. He/She will be responsible for registry monitoring and follow up to ensure timely addressing and airport compliance.

  • Assists Security Planning Supervisor in managing the ID Card Offices.

  • Coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance works for all security equipment and systems, relocations/reconfigurations all relative security issues.

  • Participates in interdepartmental projects or work groups, communicates and collaborates with colleagues and 3rd parties, advises on security dependencies and ensures adherence to security policies when needed

Requirements

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent will be considered a plus.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the airport operations sector including security operations Excellent knowledge of the HCAA’s requirements and procedures in the field of Aviation Security
  • Excellent knowledge of English language
  • Excellent knowledge level of MS Office
  • Position requires occasional travel to our airports
