An international automotive parts manufacturing company is actively seeking a Quality Manager who has experience in the automotive industry and IATF 16949. This is a full time, and direct hire position with benefits: 401(k), Dental, Health, Life insurance, PTO, Vision, etc. Responsibilities of Quality Manager Oversee Quality department including budget, production schedule, staffing, production goals, etc. Ensure the company’s production follows IATF 16949 compliance all time Prepare for scheduled internal / external audits and ensure company is ready for unscheduled audits as well Maintain clean and safe workplace and ensure the team follows company procedure and policies Analyze the existing system and implement action plans for quality improvement Manage customer’s complaints regarding quality issues and direct team accordingly Communicate with customers effectively and handle difficult situation Perform investigations for quality issues and analyze data for improvement Ensure everyone in the company follows safety protocol and report any unsafe environment Communicate closely with Production department for aby quality issues Build and maintain a professional relationship with team member for effective communication Hire and train new employees Follow all OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, EPA standards for optimal operations for the facility Perform all other duties as assigned Qualifications of Quality Manager 5-7 years of experience in team management 10 years of experience in the automotive parts quality control management Knowledge of IATF 16949 compliance Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience or equivalent experience Strong leadership skills in team environment and skills to bring positive atmosphere to the team Ability to be flexible to work effectively with wide variety of people and to work responsibly and effectively in a multicultural environment Excellent communication (Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening) and presentation skills Ability to multi-task and perform duties time efficiently Team-worker, Detail-oriented, Responsible, Punctual, Self-motivated Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
