Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tailor to join our church vestment company team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sewing and a strong understanding of garment construction. As a Tailor/Sewer, you will be responsible for altering, repairing, and creating garments to meet customer specifications while ensuring high-quality craftsmanship. This role requires ability to work with various fabrics and styles.

Duties

• Alter and repair garments according to customer requests, ensuring precise fit and finish.
• Use sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to execute alterations and custom designs.
• This position is a part-time, self-employed position allowing you to work at home or workshop.
• Maintain an organized workspace, keeping tools and materials in order.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.

Experience

• Previous experience in sewing and tailoring is preferred.
• Proficiency in using sewing machines and understanding garment construction techniques.
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and fabric estimations.
