  • Guard the Fortress (But Smarter): Track laws across states, but don't hide behind them. Update policies from first principles: What minimizes risk while maximizing speed? Handle workers' comp, ERISA, whatever but always ask: How can we turn compliance into a weapon for growth?
  • Navigate People Storms: Advise leaders on thorny issuesperformance dips, terminations, conflicts. Use evidence to guide, not HR scripts. Build PIPs that actually improve people or cull dead weight. Relentless follow-through: Don't suggest; ensure it happens.
  • Onboard and Ignite Culture: Redesign new hire intros to embed values from day one. Be the living embodimentadvocate for simplicity, grit, and growth in every interaction. Spot ways to amp employee experience without gimmicks.
  • Forge Skills and Fire: Craft training that aligns with real needscompliance without boredom, skills that scale us. Run surveys, but dig into data for truths, not feel-goods. Drive engagement by fixing root problems.
  • Hunt Improvements Non-Stop: Eyes always scanning for upgradestech, processes, whatever. Think systems: How does this change affect downstream ops? Implement with grit; follow through until it's embedded. Stay ahead of trends, but only steal ideas that fit our DNA.
