Position Overview:

We are seeking board-certified, multispecialty physicians to join our growing telehealth team. Physicians will provide remote health counseling, routine and specialty care, and pre- and post-operative support to patients referred from our network clinics. This role is ideal for physicians seeking flexible work arrangements, with both part-time and full-time opportunities available. Physicians will manage a minimum patient volume of 200 patients per month and may also supervise and collaborate with support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care:
    • Conduct virtual consultations for patients referred from our clinics, addressing a wide range of non-dental health concerns within your specialty.
    • Provide routine, pre-operative, and post-operative care using telehealth platforms.
    • Utilize both synchronous (real-time video/phone) and asynchronous (store-and-forward) telehealth modalities to deliver care.
    • Document all patient interactions and maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic health records (EHRs).
  • Collaboration & Supervision:
    • Work collaboratively with other physicians and healthcare professionals across multiple specialties to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
    • Supervise and mentor support staff as assigned, fostering a collaborative and supportive virtual work environment.
  • Compliance & Best Practices:
    • Adhere to all state medical board regulations and telehealth guidelines, including obtaining and maintaining licensure in the state(s) where patients are located.
    • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all relevant privacy and security standards for telehealth.
    • Obtain informed consent for telehealth services and maintain the same standard of care as in-person visits.
  • Technology & Remote Work:
    • Use telehealth technology platforms for patient care, communication, and documentation.
    • Maintain a secure, private, and professional remote work environment with reliable internet connectivity and necessary hardware/software.
    • Participate in regular virtual team meetings and ongoing training in telehealth best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited residency program in one of the listed specialties.
  • Board certification in your specialty (ABMS or AOABOS).
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state; willingness and eligibility to obtain additional state licenses as required (IMLC participation preferred).
  • Experience with telehealth platforms and EHR systems, or willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort with both synchronous (live video/phone) and asynchronous (store-and-forward) telehealth approaches.
  • Ability to manage a minimum monthly patient volume of 200 patients.
  • Commitment to patient-centered, high-quality care and collaborative practice.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Multiple state licenses or eligibility for expedited licensure via the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
  • Prior telehealth experience and/or telehealth certification (e.g., ACHC, URAC).
  • Experience supervising or mentoring clinical support staff.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills.

Work Environment & Technology Requirements:

  • 100% remote, work-from-home position.
  • Flexible scheduling; both part-time and full-time roles available.
  • Must have a private, secure workspace, high-speed internet, and a computer with video/audio capabilities.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms (e.g., Zoom for Healthcare, Doxy.me, or similar) and EHR systems.
  • Employer-provided software accounts and technical support available.

  • Competitive compensation based on specialty, experience, and patient volume.
