About the Role

The Company is seeking a Regional Vice President for Franchise Sales Development in the Extended Stay segment. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the growth of the MainStay Suites and Suburban Extended Stay Hotel brands by meeting and exceeding conversion and new construction goals. This role involves developing and executing the Market Area Strategic Business Plan, building a pipeline of prospective franchisees, and managing relationships with various industry stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have a strong track record in sales strategy development, internal support, and business results, with a background in hospitality franchise sales, hotel development, or a significant history in B2B sales. Proficiency in MS Office is required, and experience with CRM applications is desirable. The role demands excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills, as well as the ability to travel extensively. Candidates for the Regional Vice President position should preferably hold a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or have equivalent experience. A minimum of 3-5 years' of successful experience in hospitality franchise sales or hotel development within the geographic market area is strongly preferred. The role requires a deep understanding of the hotel industry, competitive brands, and sales and marketing strategies. The candidate must be a strong collaborator, with the ability to work across organizational lines, and have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals. The position is an individual contributor role that demands a high level of business acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to influence and negotiate effectively. The candidate should be prepared to represent the company at various industry events and be committed to the values and principles of the organization.
