Install and Repair Supervisor

Location: Flint and Ann Arbor Service Region with offices located in North Branch or Dexter, MI
Position Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Competitive Pay

Position Summary:
The Install Repair Supervisor plays a vital role in the customer experience journey and leads a team of customer front facing field technicians responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of our customer prem fixed wireless and fiber infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of a team of field technicians.
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching and feedback.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Coordinate and schedule field service activities, including installations, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Monitor technician performance and productivity.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide guidance to technicians.
  • Ensure that all work is performed to the highest quality standards.
  • Inspect completed work to verify accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage and maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Interact with customers to resolve issues and provide excellent service.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to quickly resolve network outages and service interruptions.

  • Skills and Requirements:

  • 3+years of experience in telecommunications field service, preferably in a fixed wireless and fiber environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of network infrastructure, including fiber optic cables, wireless towers, and associated equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • A self-starter who will conceive of and accept responsibility for projects and see them through to completion; be an individual contributor and contribute as part of a larger team.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required.
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required; including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate.
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.
  • May be required to operate general office equipment including but not limited to copiers, printers.
